More of an American style mexican place... they also have burgers and wraps on the menu. But their drinks are fabulous and their fajitas and burritos are solid. Make sure to try the portage street tacos and check out the beautiful architecture in one of the Soo's oldest buildings

This place is a hidden gem. The ambiance is so nice and the food was absolutely amazing. The price was decent and the service was fast and friendly. I cant wait to travel up north and have dinner here again. You definitely gotta try it!

Beautiful bar and gorgeous decor! We had a very sweet server who was more than happy to serve our party of seven. She brought out coloring pages for the kids and was quick to get orders and drinks. The nachos, salads, and salsa were all very flavorful and filling. Delicious! Portion sizes were sharable with leftovers to take home. The drink special of the day was a Long Island: super strong and delicious citrus flavor. Well worth the stop! We will definitely be back!

My family dined here after a conversation with a local resident about the best place to eat. We were not disappointed. We ordered 2 of the featured half price appetizers, and for entres, we had a variety from burgers to burritos. Everything was very good. The only additional feedback I would share is my son thought the burrito was a bit small (but still one of his favorite entres enjoyed during our 2 week vacation). My wife thought the size was just right for her. Good varieties of food for any group, and all very tasty. Staff was friendly, and served us quickly after we arrived. I would certainly come again.

Love the homemade chips and the Carmel apple margaritas. I live in the middle of the mitt and plan on going there a few times a year just for the margarita and chips.

I think the overall ambience and history in this restaurant is absolutely amazing. Upon walking in, it makes you pay attention to the authenticity of the building, the beautiful and cherished woodworking. We enjoyed our food, our waiter-I think his name was Caleb-had a quick smile, was very knowledgeable about the menu, readily offered recommendations and was an all around great guy! I did think the menu could have had more offerings, but what they had on the menu available to order was done very well.

Stopped while visiting - good food, nice staff, strong drinks. Even the Mexican food lends an American twist. Very busy, popular place.

Our waiter was so awesome! I just wish I remembered his name. He was new but I couldn't tell because he was great. The food was great, they let me order a veggie fajita even though it wasn't on the menu. The most amazing thing was that after eating, when it was time to pay, I realized I had left my wallet and keys on the chair outside and I went outside panicking, but the bartender Elyse had stopped me to tell me that someone had turned it in. She took the time to find me and message me on Facebook to make sure I got it back. I would recommend this place anyway. My pals ordered the street tacos and said they were amazing.
